Answers: 1.A case study on asthma is provided which shows that the patient is suffering from exacerbation of asthma. This means that the bronchioles present in the respiratory system had become narrow mainly due to the swelling up of the airways. Contractions of the muscles in the respiratory system had been the main reason resulting in the condition that the boy suffered. The case study has already noted that the boy had developed upper respiratory tract infection. This infection mainly results from the invasion of different types of micro-organisms. The micro-organisms may include different types of bacteria s well as different types of viruses. Researchers suggest that often cold, flu and other infections that often arise due to attack of different micro-organisms can be one of the contributing factors that results in the development of asthma in a patient.
